Imagine….

… calmly walking your daughter through her period and the products she can use

… talking to your son about wet dreams and erections without breaking a sweat

… keeping your connection with your kiddo strong so you can weather the storm together

… having a community of experts at your fingertips for those moments “Oh shit what do I do next “ moments.

… raising kids who know and trust they can ask you anything about sex, relationships and bodies

… raising a confident kid who can recognize abuse, call it out and report it

… raising kids who know how to be safe online and and trust they can tell you when it’s not

If you want to raise kids who know, love and trust their bodies and themselves, and respect the bodies and brains of others - this is the place to be.

Did you keep a diary when you were in grade 7? I sure did. Reading back on it is a) cringeworthy and b) a stark reminder of the many different kinds of stresses I was facing during a time when my brain made the world all about me and made my problems seem 1 million times bigger than they actually were.

Puberty is a time of massive transition. A little alarm clock goes off in our brain and our body begins the process of transitioning from a kid body (one that does not reproduce) to an adult body (or one that can reproduce). At the same time we are gaining our independence and autonomy, figuring out our likes and dislikes, distancing ourselves from our parents and trying to navigate the tricky worlds of friendships, cliques, and crushes. On top of that our kids are now trying to manage two identities (one in the real world and one online), trying to navigate their way through very confusing media messages about who they should be and fending off dick pics and naked selfie requests left right and centre. Add to this every day stresses of school work load, family transitions like divorce and you’ve got a recipe for a challenging parenting season.

The Parenting Through Puberty Membership is a space set up just for you - to get the resources you need to navigate this tricky time.

I designed it as a year-long membership because I didn’t want to teach you a short course and peace out. I wanted you to have a space where you could a) learn the tools to get proactive about managing your relationship with your kid and informing them about the changes ahead and b) have a place to panic and pick yourself up when the sh** his the fan. (Cause it will)
